Leach & Co through its history commencing as HG Leach & Co Ltd has built a number of stages at the following major state-of-the-art modern landfills in New Zealand, all built to the highest specifications, fit for purpose including composite lining, leachate and gas collection systems:

  • Tirohia (H.G. Leach & Co.)
  • Rotorua (Rotorua District Council)
  • Silverstream (Hutt City Council).

We have also built the Naboro Landfill, Suva, Fiji for the Department of Environment, Government of Fiji. The Naboro Landfill is a Class A Landfill, built to the highest specification, including composite lining, leachate collection and treatment facilities. Naboro is the only modern, high-standard landfill in the South East Pacific islands. The Naboro Landfill is operated by HG Leach (Fiji) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Leach & Co.

Leach & Co staff, during their time at HG Leach & Co Ltd have built landfill gas collection and destruction systems at the following landfills in New Zealand:

  • Tirohia Landfill (H.G. Leach & Co.)
  • Omaranui Landfill (Hastings District Council)
  • Bluegums Landfill (Marlborough District Council)
  • Rotorua (Rotorua District Council)
  • Silverstream (Hutt City Council)

Keeping it clean

  • The Resource Management Act
  • The Conditions of Consent for the site
  • Contract specifications.
